Light & Lovely was created from both personal and professional experience in understanding the realities of mental wellness and caregiving. Through years of working in direct support, residential care, and behavioral health services, it became clear that individuals and families need more than encouragement—they need consistent support, practical tools, and environments that promote stability and growth.

This work is rooted in the belief that challenges rarely affect just one person. They impact families, caregivers, and entire support systems. Light & Lovely was built to provide a space where individuals can receive compassionate, structured support while also empowering those who care for them.

Professional Background

With a background in direct support services, residential management, and behavioral health, Light & Lovely is grounded in hands-on experience supporting individuals with a range of needs. This includes leadership experience as a Program Director for federally funded mental health grant programs, overseeing service delivery, program development, and community collaboration.

This experience includes:

  • Supporting individuals with developmental and behavioral health needs
  • Residential care and home-based support services
  • Work in mental health and substance use fields
  • Coordinating care with families and interdisciplinary teams

This foundation ensures that services are delivered with professionalism, consistency, and a clear understanding of real-world care needs.
